May the Fourth Be With You…and other news.

Just a quick reminder, I will be in Baltimore on May 4th as part of the Freestate Workshop Two Acoustic Roadshow at the 8×10 along with some of his favorite Maryland artists.  Artists like Joe Harkum (Pasadena), Ray Wroten (Bond and Bentley), Riddie Becker (Grilled Lincolns), Nate Clendenen (the Electric Company), Pressing Strings and many many more…..Tickets are still available, $10 presale, and $14 at the door.

Doors at 7, show at 7:30….I goes on around 8:15.

Also, on friday, May 4th, on WAMU 88.5 FM in Washington DC at 1pm , an amazing radio documentary will air called “Fighting the Odds”, which focuses on the dropout problem in our nation and in our nation’s capital.  I was asked to do the soundtrack for this documentary and I couldn’t be more proud to be a part of something so moving and powerful.  You can stream the broadcast online by clicking to www.WAMU.org.

And, we can announce that the town of Ocean City, Md has asked me to produce the winner of the “Song of the Summer” Contest in OC, the council voted it through yesterday unanimously and I will relay the details of the contest very soon.

Finally, I’d also like to announce a summer residency, as I will be doing a weekly Wednesday night show at the Cultured Pearl in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware starting 6/13, but i will doing a debut show on saturday June 9th.

The summer schedule just has one or two more things to fill in and then I shall post all the dates.

Hope to see you all soon, at a show, the grocery store, on the interwebs, or somewhere else down the line.
