BR and the Tragic Figures at the Rockabilly Rumble

It’s been a great year so far for us…great crowds, positive momentum, the EP “Here For the Show” has been well received, and we’ve played alongside some great national acts including Marc Broussard, Lucero, and the Dean Ween Group.

But this upcoming show could be the show of the summer!rumble poster

We are so excited to be apart of the Rockabilly Rumble once again this year.

I played it solo last year alongside J Roddy Walston and the Business, Low Cut Connie and many others.

This year, we’re taking the whole band up the coast to the World Cafe Live at the Queen Theatre in Wilmington, Delaware.

Check out the poster for the lineup, and click to www.rockabillyrumble.com for ticketing info.

We play at 5:25pm inside the Queen (upstairs live stage).

Hope to see you at the Rumble!!!!!

BR at Fager’s Island in Ocean City 2.28

SONY DSCIt’s been a busy few months…I’ve been finishing the composing project I’ve been working on for the city of Baltimore and wrapping up recording for the new BR and the Tragic Figures record, which we should have out in April.

As of right now, it’s going to be called “Here for the Show” and we are absolutely excited to get it out to you.

But, I’m also working on a solo record right now too….I’m working with an all new lineup for the solo record and it’s being produced by the fantastically talented Ryan Mete.

With that said, I’ll be previewing some of the tracks on this upcoming solo record on 2.28 with Ryan Mete on drums, and Joe “Smooth” Jacinto on sax.

Please join us at Fager’s Island in Ocean City, MD on 2.28 at 7pm on the main stage for a classy evening featuring a newer and more sophisticated take on some of my quieter Waits-ian piano ballads and jazzy/bluesy numbers.

Hope to see you there…and I know I’ve been quiet for the past few months, but that’s because I’ve been hard at work on a bunch of different things that I’m excited to roll out soon.

best–BR
