BR at Fager’s Island in Ocean City 2.28

SONY DSCIt’s been a busy few months…I’ve been finishing the composing project I’ve been working on for the city of Baltimore and wrapping up recording for the new BR and the Tragic Figures record, which we should have out in April.

As of right now, it’s going to be called “Here for the Show” and we are absolutely excited to get it out to you.

But, I’m also working on a solo record right now too….I’m working with an all new lineup for the solo record and it’s being produced by the fantastically talented Ryan Mete.

With that said, I’ll be previewing some of the tracks on this upcoming solo record on 2.28 with Ryan Mete on drums, and Joe “Smooth” Jacinto on sax.

Please join us at Fager’s Island in Ocean City, MD on 2.28 at 7pm on the main stage for a classy evening featuring a newer and more sophisticated take on some of my quieter Waits-ian piano ballads and jazzy/bluesy numbers.

Hope to see you there…and I know I’ve been quiet for the past few months, but that’s because I’ve been hard at work on a bunch of different things that I’m excited to roll out soon.

New Tragic Figures Record On the Way….

We have recorded the first half of the new band album….and I’m very excited about the turnout.

In addition to the full band record, which will include recent live favorites like “the Mighty”, “Lowdown”, “Here for the Show”, “Revival” and “Glory, I’m also going to put out a solo record of more down tempo and stripped down stuff that I’ve been performing at solo shows.

So expect songs like “The Girl From Pennsyltucky”, “The Button” and “Walking Between the Raindrops” on that album, which I will begin in the coming months.

2013 is winding down and it’s been a fantastic year, and expect a lot of shows, and a lot of new music in 2014.

Also, check out the “shows” page as I’ll be sharing the stage with two national acts in November….Goodbye Motel and Corb Lund.kim tucker shot3

Hope to see you at a show.
