Now shake it like this…..
Recently, I was honored with a regional Edward R. Murrow Award for a public radio piece I did on homelessness here on the coast.
The piece is called “Homeless in Hobo Woods” and if you are so inclined, you can listen to it here:
I’m very proud to be recognized for my work as a journalist for WAMU 88.5 in Washington and as a the host of Coastal Connection, here in Ocean City, Md, and I’m grateful to all my colleagues and specifically, my producer Tara Boyle for helping me along the way.
Very Exciting Shows coming up…
First off, the fine folks at Fager’s Island have tasked us with putting together a cool little music showcase a few times a year….but the first one is going to be a co-bill with us and one of the best up and coming bands I’ve heard in a long time.
The Fleeting Ends
Check out the poster for details.
and on May 17th, I’ll be playing a co-bill with the great Paul Cullen at the Avalon Theatre in Easton, MD inside the Stoltz Listening Room.
It will be such an intimate and cool listening show, and Paul is going to be providing samples of his rapidly growing brand of wines. Tickets to that show are $25.

and finally, on Friday, June 14th I’ll be playing a songwriter showcase at World Cafe Live inside the Queen Theatre in Wilmington Delaware.
